Dr. Kim is a transplant and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeon specializing in liver transplantation and the surgical treatment of diseases involving the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Dr. Kim received his medical degree from University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada. Pursuant to his medical degree, Dr. Kim completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada as well as two fellowships in Abdominal Transplant Surgery and Hepato-Pancreato-biliary surgery at the Simmons Transplant Institute at Baylor University Medical Center and the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada respectively.
Dr. Kim is a published author contributing comprehensive research findings and clinical experience with liver, pancreas, and islet transplantation to nationally recognized associations and publications and is honored to be a recipient of the prestigious W.H. Sutherland Memorial Prize for outstanding resident in general surgery. Dr. Kim is a respected surgeon dedicated to delivering quality and compassionate care to patients diagnosed with liver, pancreas, and bile duct diseases and conditions.
