Giuliano Testa, MD, FACS, MBA

Guiliano Testa, MDDr. Testa specializes in living donor liver transplantation for both adult and pediatric patients and is the Surgical Director of Living Donor Liver Transplantation at Baylor University Medical Center. He is accredited by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) as well as a Board Certified general surgeon. Dr. Testa was Director of the Living Donor Liver Transplant Program at the University of Illinois and then Director of Liver Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery at the University of Chicago before joining the Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute. He graduated from the University of Padova Medical School in Italy. Dr. Testa cultivated his interest in transplant
surgery during his fellowship in abdominal organ transplantation at Baylor and went on to receive additional surgical training in live donor liver transplantation under the tutelage of transplant pioneer Dr. Christoph Broelsch. Dr. Testa has performed living donor liver transplants for 15 years and is world renown for his surgical expertise in the field. Dr. Testa’s interests include living donor liver transplantation, intestinal transplantation, and complex liver surgery for benign and malignant diseases.
